The client, who flies his own P-51 and aerobatic aircraft, specifically wanted the interior to “look massive” but to be as light as physically possible. The interior is of koa wood veneer over ultra-light substrates.

In this view from the galley looking forward into the salon, please note the curved louvers and faceted detailing.

The koa chairs were carved to Artese’s design, by master furniture maker and Sam Maloof protégé, Larry Allen White.
